One year after my daughter Lula died I sent out a message to everyone I knew asking people to create Lulas, photograph them, and send them to me.  I received over 100 entries from friends, family, and total strangers.  They came from my neighbors and halfway around the world.

In addition to feeling an overwhelming sense of love and support from the world at such a difficult time in my life, I wanted to show how one little girl, who lived only 18 months, could leave such an immense mark on the world.  I want people to see the impact that anyone can have regardless of their abilities, their power, or even the duration of their time on earth.
